DAN ROBERTS

In the summer of 2018 I visited "NEWFIELDS." the Indianapolis (Indiana) Museum of Art, where I saw an exhibit called Portraits of Our City. That exhibit featured hundreds of black and white photographs of local residents and had the purpose of inviting the community to discover human connections through people and place. This was my goal for FACES of West Reading. However, in my exhibit, in addition to several hundred black and white photos, were my paintings, sketches and graphics of faces of some of the people I had selected as representing the people, the place and the spirit of West Reading, Pennsylvania.
